-2009 a continued advocate for our children with the Fulton County School Board over the disparity in the distribution of funds between North and South Fulton especially the Banneker Cluster.

-2008 October 2008 – Opened a new adult day health facility to enhance the services already being offered – one for our seniors and one for our developmentally disable.  A serious need in South Fulton.  Now one center in two locations.

-2007 instrumental in encouraging our current leadership and leading our community to take our neighborhood school back and once again instill moral values.

2005-2001 Local Advisory School Council (Business Partner). Awarded Appreciation Letter from former Governor Roy Barnes.

-      In 1999 opened Visions Care Adult Day Health Center in Union City.  This brought adult day health care awareness to the Fulton County Division of Aging where an additional facility was added onto the H.J. Bowden Center in East Point.

-In 1999 started awarding book scholarships to the Sisters, Brothers and Nursing Program at Banneker High School.

-In 1999 was a community leader in getting MARTA transportation service to South Fulton residences, during the repairing of the Morning Creek Tributary Bridge.  Advocating for MARTA transportation to Flat Shoals and other South Fulton communities.

-     1994 established a 13 County-wide multi transportation system for Georgia Mountains Community Service Board in North Georgia for mentally disabled community.



Rosie Jackson knows that "Education is the Key to our Community Growth."  Involvement and  investment in our children will  pay a huge dividend in the future.
